Day 1: Arrival Kigali airport
Arrive at Kigali International Airport (KGL) and meet and greet our guide before being transferred to Kigali city. Overnight stay and meals at Quiet Haven Hotel (budget facility). Meals: bed & breakfast
Day 2: Kigali City Tour – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Travel Time +4hrs)
In the morning you will head out for a Kigali city tour. In the city you’ll be amazed by the splendor of Rwanda – ‘a land of a thousand hills’. The city is very clean with very hospitable and friendly people.
The first place that travelers visit during the Kigali city tour is the genocide memorial center. This has information regarding how the genocide began. You will have lunch in Kigali before heading to Uganda, driving off to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda. Arrive in the evening for relaxation and sightseeing..

Day 3: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking – Part of 5 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking
Begin the day with breakfast as you get ready for your gorilla trekking experience, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the staff of Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA). Ensure that you carry along with you a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, and jungle boots among others.
The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy primates for a group you have been booked for.
Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare mountain gorillas – perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. Gorilla tracking may take between 2 to 6 hours but it’s well worth the effort. The afternoon is spent on a village walk.
The Buhoma Village Walk gives you a great opportunity to see how the people surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It also is a great way to support the local community in a direct way. The walk begins after a briefing from your guide at your lodge and is most informative, rewarding to the every visitor. It will amaze you how resourceful the local people are as you see and learn their ways of life.

Day 3: Bwindi – Lake Bunyonyi (Travel Time +2hrs)
After an early morning breakfast you will be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale, for an afternoon sightseeing and relaxation at your lodge.
Overnight stay at Crater Bay Cottages (budget facility). Meal plan: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 4: Lake Bunyonyi Tour
Get on a morning community walk and visit the Batwa community and then a boat ride along Lake Bunyonyi for an ample birding experience. The idea is to relax and refresh from the hard gorilla trekking adventure.
Overnight stay at Crater Bay Cottages (budget facility). Meal plan: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 5: Lake Bunyonyi – Kampala (Travel Time +7hrs)
After your morning breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala with lunch en-route. Thereafter, you will continue to Kampala or Entebbe for your outgoing flight back home or to your next destination. Meal plan: breakfast & lunch.
