    5 Days Gorilla Tracking & Chimpanzee Tour Itinerary:-

    Day 1: Kigali Airport – Bwindi

    Upon arrival at Kigali airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative who will then transfer you north to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, in Uganda. The winding scenery is very rewarding, so you will have a stopover for a rest and lunch while on your way.

    Dinner and overnight stay at either Buhoma Lodge/Mahogany Springs/Gorilla Safari Lodge (high-end lodge) or Silverback Lodge/Chameleon Hill Lodge (mid-range) or Buhoma Community Bandas/Wagtail Eco Camp (budget facility). Meal plan: lunch and dinner.

    Day 2: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking – Part of 5 Days Gorilla tracking & Chimpanzee

    Begin the day with breakfast as you get ready for your gorilla trekking experience, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the staff of Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA). Ensure that you carry along with you a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, and jungle boots among others.

    The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy primates for a group you have been booked for.

    Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare mountain gorillas – perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. Gorilla tracking may take between 2 to 6 hours but it’s well worth the effort.. Time permitting; the afternoon is spent on a village walk.

    The Buhoma Village Walk gives you a great opportunity to see how the people surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.  It also is a great way to support the local community in a direct way. The walk begins after a briefing from your guide at your lodge and is most informative, rewarding to the every visitor. It will amaze you how resourceful the local people are as you see and learn their ways of life.

    Day 3: Bwindi – Queen Elizabeth National Park

    Drive through what is probably East Africa’s most spectacular scenery, while heading to the northern Mweya section of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival at the park you will enjoy a game drive along Kasenyi and Queen’s Mile, while spotting elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, warthogs and if you are lucky, the unique tree-climbing lions too.

    Spend the afternoon on a two hour boat trip along the famous Kazinga channel, which connects the two Lakes, Edward and George. This is a great opportunity to see hippos, kobs and a great variety of aquatic birds.

    Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge or Enganzi Lodge (mid-range) or Wildtrack Safari Lodge (budget facility). Meal plan: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

    Day 4:  Chimpanzee Trek – Entebbe

    Get on an half day chimpanzee trekking and other primates, including monkeys, in Kyambura gorge, in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The guide will provide detailed explanations, not only on primates, but also on all the forest fauna and flora, to ensure that your walk is both informative and enjoyable.

    After lunch, you will proceed to Kampala, and then Entebbe via the Equator crossing line.You will have a stopover for lunch and then an evening at your hotel in Entebbe.

    Dinner and overnight stay at Serena Kampala Hotel (high-end) or Cassia Lodge (mid-range) or Forest Cottages Kampala (budget). Meal plan: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

    Day 5: Transfer to Entebbe Out

    After breakfast you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport, for your flight back home or to your next destination. Meal plan: breakfast.
