Gorilla Valley Lodge is located near Rushaga ranger station in Rushaga section of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Follow signposts leading the way coming from Kabale Road, and when you reach Rushaga, you will take the road on the right leading straight to the lodge.
While at Gorilla Valley Lodge, it feels like you are invited into the home of the majestic mountain gorillas because Bwindi impenetrable forest is just one meter away from your veranda. However, these gentle giants are not your host, but just your neighbors, even though they occasionally come out of the forest to spend some time in our garden. This is what makes the lodge so special.
Rooms at Gorilla Valley Lodge
Located on the border of the impenetrable forest and set on a steep slope, the lodge has a truly unique forest setting. Imagine waking up with the sounds of the forest, having your cup of coffee or tea on your private terrace. You will enjoy experiencing the forest coming alive and the mist mysteriously giving way for a lush jungle.
Gorilla Valley Lodge consists of 12 en-suite rooms, built on a steep slope, ensuring the best views of Bwindi impenetrable forest. All rooms have a private terrace from where to experience the splendor of the forest.
The rooms are tastefully decorated and equipped with solar water heaters, with comfortable beds that ensure a peaceful sleep.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is found in southwestern Uganda on the edge of the western arm of the Great East African Rift Valley. That’s about 530km from Kampala, the capital of Uganda.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is famous for gorilla trekking safaris, is a UNESCO World Heritage site, occupying over 331 sqkm. The park is also famous for its rare species which include mountain gorillas (Gorilla beringei beringei).
