6 Days Flying Gorilla Tracking Safari Itinerary:-
Day 1: Arrival Entebbe Airport
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide who will then take you to Protea Hotel in Entebbe (high-end facility) for an overnight stay and dinner. Meal plan: dinner.
Day 2: Entebbe – Bwindi Forest
Our guide/driver picks you at a convenient time from your hotel in Entebbe your transfer to the airport to catch up with a scheduled flight to Bwindi. You can choose to go with a morning flight (departs 07:00 am arriving 08:45 am) or with the afternoon flight (departing 12:45 pm and arriving at 13:55 pm).
While on your flight you will enjoy the aerial view of the beautiful changing landscape. The flight takes only 2 hours to the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates, exotic birds, valleys, hilltops, and papyrus swamps.
On your arrival at either Kihihi or Kisoro airstrip, you will be transferred with our vehicle to your lodge.
Dinner and overnight stay at Gorilla Forest Camp/Trackers Gorilla Lodge/Volcano Bwindi Lodge/ Buhoma Lodge (luxury high-end lodge). Meal plan: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 3: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking – Part of 6 Days Flying Gorilla Tracking
Begin the day with breakfast as you get ready for your 4 days gorilla flying safari in Uganda, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the staff of Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA). Ensure that you carry along with you a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, and jungle boots among others.
The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy primates for a group you have been booked for.
Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare mountain gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours but it’s well worth the effort.
The afternoon is spent on a village walk. The Buhoma Village Walk gives you a great opportunity to see how the people surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It also is a great way to support the local community in a direct way.
The walk begins with your guide at Buhoma Community Rest Camp and is most informative, rewarding to the every visitor. It will amaze you how resourceful the local people are as you see and learn their ways.

Day 4: Second Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
After breakfast, you will go for the second gorilla track but in another group returning in the afternoon for relaxation and sightseeing around the lodge.

Day 5: Batwa Cultural Experience
Today is dedicated for a Batwa cultural experience. You will see the Batwa demonstrating their old-aged hunting techniques, honey gathering, pointing out medicinal plants and demonstrating how to make bamboo cups.
Women of the Batwa community shall perform sorrowful songs which echo and leave guests with a moving sense of the richness of Uganda’s culture.

Day 6: Bwindi – Entebbe Airport
You have two flight options returning from Bwindi. You may choose to catch up on a morning flight at 1055 hrs. arriving at Entebbe at 1155 hrs. or with the afternoon flight departing at 1405 and then arrive at 1505 at Entebbe. Whichever option you choose, our guide will be ready to transfer you to the airstrip to catch up your return flight from Bwindi to Entebbe for your onward flight to your next destination. Meal plan: breakfast.
