5 Days Luxury Gorilla Trekking Safari Itinerary:-
Day 1: Arrival Entebbe Airport
Upon arrival at Entebbe airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide who will then take you to Protea Hotel (high-end) for an overnight stay and dinner. Meal plan: dinner.
Day 2: Entebbe – Bwindi
Our guide/driver picks you at a convenient time from your hotel in Entebbe your transfer to the airport to catch up with a scheduled flight to Kisoro. The morning flight departs at 0700 hrs. arriving at 0810 hrs., and while on it, you will enjoy the aerial view of the beautiful changing landscape.
The flight takes only 1 and half hours to the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates, exotic birds, valleys, hilltops, and papyrus swamps.
On your arrival to Kisoro Airstrip, you will then be transferred with our vehicle to your lodge.
After an early lunch, get ready to make tour of the nearby coffee plantation, to witness the whole coffee making process in a community village visit.
Dinner and overnight stay at Mt Gahinga Lodge (luxury lodge facility). Meal plan: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 3: Mgahinga Gorilla Trekking – Part of 5 Days Luxury Gorilla Trekking Safari
Begin the day with breakfast as you get ready for your 5 days luxury gorilla trekking safari, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the staff of Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA). Ensure that you carry along with you a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, and jungle boots among others.
The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy primates for a group you have been booked for.
Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare mountain gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours but it’s well worth the effort.
The afternoon is spent on relaxation and sightseeing around your camp.

Day 4: Golden Monkey Trekking in Mgahinga
Today is dedicated for golden monkey trekking. The Golden Monkey is a subspecies of the Blue monkey (or Sykes monkey). As a result of continuous divisions of forests, Cercopithecus species were isolated in different regions and therefore forced to adapt to these regions.
Golden monkey trekking is the one of the most exciting experiences through the bamboo forests of Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. After this, you will return for overnight stay at Kisoro Travelers Rest Hotel (budget facility). Meal plan: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 5: Kisoro Airstrip – Entebbe
Today is dedicated for your flight out of Kisoro departing at 0825 arriving at 1125 ready for your onward flight connection back home or to your next destination. Meal plan: Breakfast
