6 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari Itinerary:-
Day 1: Arrival Entebbe Airport – Kampala
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide who will then take you to Entebbe Airport Guest House (budget facility), for an overnight stay and dinner. Meal plan: dinner.
Day 2: Kampala – Bwindi
Our guide/driver picks you at 7:00 am from your hotel or place of residence in Kampala. You will drive to Mbarara, that is 283 km from Kampala, via Masaka. Make a first stop over at Equator crossing line for snacks and photography.
You will then proceed with a visit to Igongo Cultural Village, for a more rewarding and amazing experience as you visit this Ankole museum. Get your lunch break at Agip Motel Mbarara, and thereafter lunch proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This is the lushest highland rainforest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps.
Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Haven Lodge (budget facility). Meal Plan: lunch and dinner.
Day 3: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking
Begin the day with breakfast as you get ready for your gorilla trekking experience, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the staff of Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA). Ensure that you carry along with you a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, and jungle boots among others.
The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy primates for a group you have been booked for.
Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare mountain gorillas – perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. Gorilla tracking may take between 2 to 6 hours but it’s well worth the effort.
The afternoon is spent on a Buhoma village walk, which shall give you a great opportunity to see how the people surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable forest live. It is also a great way to support the local community directly
The walk begins with a briefing from your guide at your lodge, which is most informative, and rewarding to all visitors. It will amaze you how resourceful the local people are as you see and learn their ways of life.

Day 4: Second Gorilla Trekking on 6 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari
After breakfast, you will go for the second gorilla track but in another group returning in the afternoon for relaxation and sightseeing around the lodge.

Day 5: Bwindi – Entebbe
Begin your day with a cup of coffee and thereafter you will drive back to Kampala using Kasese – Fort Portal road via Queen Elizabeth National Park. So, don’t miss an en-route game viewing to spot the giant African elephants, antelopes and the warthogs, and a stopover at the Equator line in Kasese.
Enjoy the winding scenery of the foot hills of Rwenzori mountains before arriving in Fort Portal for lunch. You will then continuing to Kampala or Entebbe for your outgoing flight back home or to your next destination. Meal Plan: B & L
Day 6: Drop off Entebbe Airport
Today is dedicated for your airport transfer to catch up your flight to your next destination or back home. Meal Plan B.
