4 Days Gorilla Trekking Safari & Golden Monkey Tour Itinerary:-
Day 1: Kampala – Bwindi
Our guide/driver picks you at 7:00 am from your jotel or place of residence in Kampala. You will drive to Mbarara, that is 283 km from Kampala, via Masaka. Make a first stop over at Equator crossing line for snacks and photography.
Get your lunch break at Agip Motel Mbarara, and thereafter lunch proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This is the lushest highland rainforest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps.
Dinner and overnight stay at Kisoro Travelers Rest Hotel (budget facility). Meal plan: lunch and dinner.
Day 2: Mgahinga Gorilla Trekking – Part of 4 Days Gorilla Trekking Safari
Begin the day with breakfast as you get ready for your gorilla trekking experience, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the staff of Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA). Ensure that you carry along with you a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, and jungle boots among others.
The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy primates for a group you have been booked for.
Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare mountain gorillas – perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. Gorilla tracking may take between 2 to 6 hours but it’s well worth the effort.
The afternoon is spent on relaxation and sightseeing around your camp.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking in Mgahinga
Today is dedicated for golden monkey trekking. The golden monkey is a subspecies of the blue monkey (sykes monkey). As a result of continuous divisions of forests, Cercopithecus species were isolated in different regions and therefore forced to adapt to these regions.
Golden monkey trekking is one of the most exciting experiences through this bamboo forest.

Day 4: Mgahinga, Kisoro – Entebbe
